Located at the quieter end of the airport terminal away from the main bar which seems to be the default option for most travellers, this is consequently a little more relaxing although is really more of a café/bar than a proper pub with table service seeming to be the order of the day. Whether you could just approach the bar and order I’m not sure, we didn’t try to as we were eating as well.
Like most airport bars it is somewhat lacking much in the way of any real character and is open to the terminal concourse all along the front, although they have made a bit of an effort with dark wood strip on the floor and colourful wallpaper all along the back wall with pictures of birds on. Elsewhere the woodwork is a very dark blue, whilst the bar counter is rather blingy with much gold paint having been used. Seating was a mixture of padded benches around the perimeter and padded armchairs elsewhere.
Predictably enough there were no real ales on tap, with just Neck Oil on keg. Ciders meanwhile were Thatcher’s Gold and Inch’s Medium Apple.
