ROB Camra left this review about The Blitz - Tap & Tales
Supposed to be open at 4 on a Wednesday, but was resolutely shut at 7 when we tried to call in. What's the point in having your opening hours on Facebook and not sticking to them. Total crap.

Old Boots left this review about The Blitz - Tap & Tales
Cafe bar on tourist trap Church St, three casks of indifferent quality and interest, two Theakstons and Landlord, although the A boards say Old Peculier is available. A T-bar of four ordinary kegs including an own labelled lager are also there. The counter is to the left on entering, a screened off L shaped seating area is to the right decorated with a large painting of London in the blitz. Some stairs lead upstairs but unexplored by me. There’s a group of sand bags by the stairs continuing the Blitz theme however lightly, then more stairs descending into the bomb shelter toilets below. A few seats are available outside on Church St. Really it’s more devoted to cocktails, wines and spirits, the beers aren’t particularly well kept or chosen.
