E TA left this review about Banana Wharf

Part of a small chain of marina cafe bars, this one certainly has a pleasant rural location, though claims that it has a view of the river are somewhat exaggerated. The outside is much larger than the inside, providing smoking and non-smoking areas with gravel paths, a central fire pit and a barbecue facility. Inside is functional rather than comfortable. The young staff are helpful and have a good team ethic, while the menu is trendy cafe style, certainly not pub grub. There is also an absence of real ale, just craft ale on draft at ridiculous prices. I settled for a Meantime IPA, not good value but refreshing nonetheless. Although central to the marina complex, it is popular with the local PYTs due to its location and ambience. I'd come back for a pint or two if using the marina, but only because there are no other pubs in the immediate vicinity.
