Visited back in Feb, to the downstairs bar that I assumed was the Groove Pad, but the separate entry on here would suggest otherwise. I did notice the separate entrance to the upstairs area, but assumed the two were connected.

Anyway down to business, four hand pulls downstairs - Saltaire Plums in Tums, Black Sheep Rekindle and Fresh Start, with the fourth being unclipped at the time of my visit.

There are stools at the bar, three tables in the window, and another table and sofas to the side of the bar. Seems as though it is set up for live music. Wi-Fi and a quiz night are advertised.

It's a modern-ish feeling bar and also has an American sandwich bar food menu (according to my notes, whatever that means).

Quiet at the time of my visit but I imagine it quickly fills up.

A fairly lacklustre bar on the ground floor of the same building as The Groove Pad, and probably related to it. Formerly just a coffee bar. There are four hand pumps on the counter to the left as you walk in, a couple of T-Bars of mostly usual stuff either side. Two of the cask beers were from “Westgate Brewery” aka Greene King, the others were equally enticing. Fortunately there’s a fridge of interesting stuff at the back. Furnished with scaffolding and thick board tables with plastic chairs.
