David Walton left this review about Quill

Visited 20/10/25. Visited previously as Monzo Beer & Pizza on 29/06/23.

No cask. Single keg offering of Guinness on draught plus a variety of beers by the bottle and can.

This is a compact venue with as much seating outside on the terrace as inside on the bare boarded ground floor and the similar sized first floor accessed via a spiral staircase in the corner just inside the entrance. Seating is via regular tables and chairs and there is some tall stool seating at the bar counter directly opposite the entrance. Ostensibly a wine bar with a small plates food offering but given proximity to the tourist magnet that is the Anchor, I would be tempted to pop here for a decent glass of wine than brave the madness nearby as it does seem to be a bit tourist undiscovered currently.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Mondo Beer + Pizza

Brewery tap and pizza restaurant underneath the railway arches leading to Cannon Street Station. Quite a small and spartan seating area in front of the bar and kitchen servery, with more tables on the mezzanine and outside. Suspended copper tanks for the six regular beers, with various other speciality brews - including the 6.7% American Brown (£6.10, schooner) - a couple of guests and a cider available from 14 of the 16 keg taps on the bar-back.
