Quinno _ left this review about Cornish Bank
Despite the listing here, this one was not open to walk-ins on my attempted Saturday afternoon visit. It looked like it had been booked-out for a meeting and I was politely turned-away.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Cornish Bank
Situated opposite the Kings in a rather prominent location where Church Street becomes Arwenack Street, the Cornish Bank is a bar, cafe and events space hosted in a former bank.
It is a not-for-profit set-up with a slightly alternative vibe. We contemplated what exactly the plant was which was sat on the table next to us.
The organisation appears to be set up to provide food banks for the local community. I found the service to be friendly and there was a really good real ale, real cider and craft beer selection to choose from.
Two real ales on were Verdant Lamanva & Dynamite Valley Gold Rush. The real cider was Touchwood Medium. Craft beers were Lacuna Pale Ale, Verdant People, Money, Space, Time, Headband & Light Bub, St Austell Mena Dhu, Thornbridge Lucky Saint & South West Orchards Craft Cider.
As we departed, we noticed a food offering set up in a kind of canteen-style. Whatever it was smelt good and there were a few customers partaking.
Live music is also hosted regularly. It looks like this place has only opened up within the last couple of years, but is a decent addition to the town's pubs and bars.
