Modern bar, a tap for the Uttoxeter Brewing Company, which is mildly hard to find on GoogleMap directions. Not much to write home about inside, mushy pea walls and grey laminate flooring. Music blaring out at 2pm like a late night disco. Three of theirs on plus a Milestone guest. Tried two of theirs, the Admiral was warm and flaccid (NBSS 2 at best), the Bartley was better (3) if not exactly stellar. Su Pollard's edgier sister at the bar who was good value for a chat. The local CAMRAs love the place – it appears to be a never-ending branch Pub of the Year winner - but I was less enamoured. 5.5

Located just up an alley from Market Square is Night Inn which is the tap for Uttoxeter Brewing Company, with only their cask being available from the four hand pumps. With Final Furlong, Ricky’s Ox Dropper, Admiral Gardener First Lord, and Paddock Porter being the options I went for the Ox Dropper which wasn’t my favourite beer of the day. Craft keg was also available alongside Asahi and Peroni, and a fridge houses some craft can options. This place isn’t massive, but there is a good sized open plan seating area at the front before the L-shaped bar counter that faces rearwards to bench seating across the rear wall. There is a disabled toilet that also acts as the ladies and gents which is not enough for the size of the bar if full to capacity. I’d give this place another go, but only to try another UBC beer before passing judgement on the brewery.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Night Inn
Uttoxeter Brewing tap slightly hidden away in an outbuilding behind the main buildings fronting the Market Place. However, the interior doesn't match the traditional look, being light and modern in appearance. Four handpumps, beers in different styles, but I went for the regular Bartley Bitter (£3.50) after giving the options some thought.
