No cask. Keg offering of four from Beak, the Steins Dunkel, the So-Idaho IPA, the Axon DIPA and the Dest Pils, the Verdant Light Bulb, the Siren CCC stout, the Peach & Blueberry Clouds sour IPA and the Sleeping Beauty Problem IPA both from Vault City and then two ciders, Mothership and Pilot both from Ascension.
This is a small craft beer bar in Deptford Yards by the exit from the station. Inside it is polished concrete flooring with the bar counter hosting the taps on the rear wall (the taps are on the left half of the bar counter). There are extremely well stocked beer fridges on the left-hand and right-hand walls with a small right angle seating arrangement in the front left-hand corner and a keg-based table with small stools in the middle of the floor space. There are some bench tables out the front in the yard that provides most of the seating capacity here, some of which is covered. An excellent craft beer location in Deptford – indeed there are a few around here.

Jars Bar is not a place that I'd considered going to when joining in the May Day Parade. We'd got to the Market Yard area well before the parade itself and finding both SALT and Jam Circus still closed, we stopped off for some food at a Chinese takeaway instead. As the parade overtook us, we followed its route and noticed Jars Bar open in one of the railway arches next to Deptford station.
Run by a friendly Ukrainian guy, this is an excellent craft beer outlet with 6 tap beers and numerous other offerings in cans and bottles in fridges. Also of note was the number of different types of homemade vodkas in various containers behind the bar. The many weird and wonderful varieties made the place feel a bit like an old fashioned pharmacy.
Seating indoors was by way of cushions on upturned barrels, whilst there is also bench seating outdoors in the Market Yard itself. It was a shame that the vast majority of the May Day Parade bypassed this little place.
Beers on tap were Orbit Nico, Vault City Iron Brew & Toasted Coconut Lemon Drizzle Doughnut, Deya Steady Rolling Man, Phantom Out of Time & Siren Anniversary DPA. A boxed cider (Pilton Labyrinth) could also be found in one of the fridges.

A small archway bar in the thriving area next to the train station. Most of the seating space is outside which was fine and shaded in the 30 degree heat. Five Craft keg taps and I opted for a Howling Hops Lager, Barley Pop which hit the spot in the temperature. Not bad.
