Steve C left this review about Croft Bar

Peachcroft Social Club is now open to the general public and the name has changed to Croft Bar. It still feels very much like a social club, and I was expecting to be challenged to show my membership, but this fear was unfounded. Through the entrance is a large open space with banquettes around the exterior walls. There are a few dartboards and also a pool table that was covered with some plywood. At the rear is another large sparsely furnished room with some more dartboards. Televisions are found throughout for airing live sports, but these were muted in favour of dance music. My visit coincided with a ladies darts competition so the place was full of tungsten fillies. To the right is an L-shaped bar counter that serves the main seating area and a bar with seating to the right. Wainwright’s Amber, and Loose Cannon’s Abingdon Bridge were available alongside a standard and premium keg range. The service was friendly, but I’d rather pay a bit extra at the pump to drink in a proper pub.
