Situated just along the main road from the Middleton Arms, the Royal British Legion only opens at 7pm each day, apart from all day opening on a Saturday.

I arrived shortly after 7pm on a Sunday evening, to find that the local elderly population had congregated for their regular bingo evening in one of the Club's two large rooms. Despite only just opening, there were already around 20-30 customers in.

The friendly barman declared that I was "a new face" to the Club, presumably hoping to start off a trend and attract the next generation of clientele. Unfortunately, it's a tad too far for me to consider a local!

Felinfoel Double Dragon is the regular beer and occupies a handpull in one of the rooms. The second handpull in the other room has the guest beer, which was Ludlow Gold on this occasion.

A friendly place that is worth a visit if in Llandrindod Wells in the evening (or on a Saturday).
