Steve C left this review about Brooke's

Brooke’s Bar and Bistro is located in the old Grade II listed Magistrates Court on the side of Dudley Town Hall. The entrance is through the Memorial Tower, which is Dudley’s war memorial where 720 names are found on the walls that were lined with red poppy wreaths when I visited early on a recent Wednesday evening. Brooke’s is found through a door to the right where a large open plan seating area is faced by a serving counter that runs up the right-hand wall. More seating is found along the front windows separated from the open plan seating by large columns. The décor is contemporary with lots of mood lighting, but the tables are very small with three chairs at each. They are the sort you would find in a cafeteria. There are also plug sockets everywhere, which I found a little strange because this place isn’t going to attract the younger members of society that are in constant need of charged technology. Lovers of great beer are also not going to be enticed with Carling, Madri, Atlantic Pale, Stowford Press cider and Guinness being the draught options. Closing is at 22:00, except Sundays when it’s 18:00. I expect this place sells more tea than beer.
