Blue Scrumpy left this review about Cove
Basement bar that was a bit of a bonus place for me after a lengthy crawl of West Yorkshire pubs and clubs.
I'd originally planned to finish in the nearby Mamil Cafe Bar, but having seen the poor beer selection and long waits to be served there, decided to continue and give this bar a try.
Whilst you won't find any real ales here, I did quite enjoy my Vocation Hop, Skip & Juice, whilst watching the youngsters of Brighouse enjoying their evening out. Although, in fairness there were some couples older than myself in.
I suspect this is more of a late night bar. It has a lounge bar feel to it, with ambient music playing in the background.
There appeared to an outdoor terrace to the rear which I didn't explore. Having settled down to watch proceedings, I'd actually forgotten that I was in a basement and that the only way out was back upstairs!
There were a couple of unisex toilets against one wall. Other drinks available were Cornish Orchards, Peroni, Moretti & Guinness. Although, many seemed to be on cocktails and wine.
A slightly different end to my day's drinking and not really my kind of bar. But the beer was very drinkable.
