A hotel with restaurant and bar located on a sharp right-hander (the bar is called 'Jackson's Bistro' and non-residents can get a Camra-qualifying "just a beer" here). Doom Bar and Felinfoel Double Dragon on this visit (£3.50 for a pint of the latter). The bar is only small and has a nice stoney front and surround, with some interesting 60s-style wallpaper dotted around the small room. TV randomly tuned into BBC1 with an old boy ensconced underneath half-watching and half-not (yes, the volume was on). A tenuous tick, but one to do if you're a completest.
