The Wetherspoons in the White Rose Centre, Leeds’s frankly fairly feeble answer to Gateshead’s Metro, Sheffield’s Meadow-hell and even the Trinity Centre in Leeds city centre. Anyway it’s a tiny, for a ‘spoons, box with the counter down the right hand side and the kitchen etc at the rear, they still manage to get the toilets upstairs and the place is typically Wetherspoons in carpet, decor and the tall / low seating mix. Is it actually the smallest ‘spoons in the country? Beer wise, just the five pulls with big T-Bars to either side sneaking in a little trio of Guinness and two dodgy ciders between the pumps and the furthest T-Bar to one side and a keg wine trio to the other. Abbot and Ruddles plus nicer locals from Wilde Childe, Kirkstall and Saltaire although not in great condition. Service was pretty slick on the app but then it wasn’t busy on a Wednesday evening.

Small (By Wetherspoon standards) square box devoid of any atmosphere and a poor selection of cask beers. There were 2 Adnams Ghost Ship's,Doombar,Ruddles and 2 other nondescript ones.It is situated on the upper level of the White Rose centre with the toilets even further up.On the plus side the Adnams Ghost Ship was only 99p a pint which compensated for the bus that broke down on the way here.
