Since Moby’s visit, below, this bar has changed somewhat. There is now no canned beer available, and when we asked what the alternatives were we were informed that they are now a cocktail bar; we weren’t encouraged to stay and have a cocktail but we persisted out of principle. That said, the staff were friendly enough while we remained. Not worth bothering in future, and shouldn’t really be considered to be a pub any more.

Small craft bar as Graham describes, eight fridges with cans and bottles some of which looked quite interesting,
four taps behind the bar at the rear of the shop had a couple of beers from Track, one from Heist and my choice of Phantom Manic Monday.I was the only customer drinking in house, a couple of fellas came in for some takeaway cans.
Interesting beers but a rather uninspiring drinking experience.

A craft bottle shop which has been expanded to house a bar and drinking area. Very much the craft equivalent of a micropub, with plain decor, simple furnishing and no distractions. The small bar at the back holds 4 KeyKeg taps, while one side of the main room is occupied with beer fridges, mainly offering tins but a few bottles and from a wide range of small craft producers. The keg offerings were also pretty obscure, including Polly's Oh My and Yonder Tropical Fool, but tended to be a bit strong. Prices generally were what you might expect. Definitely some interesting beers if you like that sort of thing, but sitting in the thrum of numerous fridges is not the most relaxing experience.
