Moby Duck left this review about Crooked Crow Bar

Set in a shopping precinct it's not got the most attractive looking exterior. Inside a square shaped room with bare boarded flooring and a large stage area on the right hand side as you enter, a pool table sits centrally in the open room. The scattered seating is an odd mix of church pews and armchairs along with barstools at the bar to the rear. There was a DJ playing vinyl records and given there was only a couple of other punters in situ, the volume was stupidly loud.
Two handpumps on the bar, one in use which was Tring Liberator and was served in very good condition indeed which goes to prove you can't always read a book by its cover. The keg was mostly basic stuff with a couple from Salt thrown into the mix.
Probably wouldn't rush back but the beer was good.
