Strongers . left this review about Montagues
Montagues is a large carpeted high street pub that is broken up by a couple of short central supporting walls. A green lit wooden topped tiled serving counter, that is edged by a tiled floor, supports standard and premium keg products that are enjoyed by the younger clientele that frequent this pub. Some of the young ladies were dressed for a proper night out, which I thought a bit odd on a Wednesday night, although it was relatively busy. Banquettes up the left and right walls having the same green coloured LEDs running behind them and in the front windows is more banquette seating that is split down the centre by an exposed brick wall. Televisions are located throughout for airing Sky Sports and I imagine there’s loud music Thursday to Saturday. The service was polite and it’s comfortable enough for me to consider popping in on maybe a Saturday afternoon to watch the early match, but at any other time it wouldn’t be of interest.
