E TA left this review about Cosy Club

Like many others of this chain it's sited on the first floor of a commercial building, this one a modern steel-and-glass structure. The 'Club' is reached up a wide flight of stairs or lift to find a landing with large glass doors and a 'greeter's podium', which was unmanned. Rather than wait we walked to the bar to find a relatively friendly young barman. Staff were mainly friendly, but it was all a bit chaotic, the bar open but not really ready to serve. The single long space had been filled with the standard 'eclectic' mix of faux-retro furniture, chandeliers and framed period prints which make it feel just like any other lounge bar chain, while the muzak was dull and uninspiring. Most of the customers were young mothers with their offspring, resting from their morning shopping. No real ale, just the usual keg offerings at ridiculously high prices. No surprises here.
