Strongers . left this review about The Milliner
Being just up from Davenport Railway Station the Milliner was the last visit of the day before heading back to central Manchester. The tiled and copper topped bar counter runs up the left whilst facing seating up the right. More seating is found in the rear of this thin bar, all of which were empty as I was the only customer. Craft keg was available and one of the three hand pumps was in operation drawing Black Jack Brewing’s Jack in the Box Blonde. The location dictates that I may find myself in here again at some point, but I wouldn’t purposely go out of my way to revisit.

Will Larter left this review about The Milliner
This shop conversion has been well described on WhatPub, and it was a welcome sight for me as my walk from the Crown on the A6 had been the longest of my day and during the warmest part of the afternoon. To some extent I was regretting drinking halves, but at least I was still standing. This is quite a narrow room, with the bar counter (green tiles and copper top) to the left at the front. There are three hand pumps, with local Bollington Best doubled and Millstone True Grit, which was a little strong for me at 5%. The Bolly was ok though. Two young girls seemed to be in charge with a maximum of 20 customers, split roughly 15 to 5 between outside (where there are tables and chairs beside the road) and inside (where it was relatively cool). I was being cool, of course.
