Here we are at yet another brewery taproom, this one farm-based, down a dead-end track, with a small car park on the other side of the lane. Dorking Brewery is more established than many small outfits and even includes a traditional best amongst its ales.

As for the tap, it's a small room with a few benches inside. I have to say that it did give the impression of being the brewery's social club (I think I was the only stranger), though I was welcomed and served. All or most of the range seemed to be available on cask or keg at £4.50 or £4.95. My Pilcrow Pale was, as you'd expect, spot on and a follow-up session IPA on keg was decent as well.

In summary, the beer's good, but the location is tricky to say the least.
