Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Burton Town Brewery Tap
Typical small brewery tap in an edge-of-town industrial estate unit. The seating is at canteen-style furniture beside the brew kit, but there is quite an interesting historical mural illustrating the town's brewing history. Albion (£2.00, half) and Cascade IPA available from two of the three handpumps. I was the only person there at about 19:30 on a Friday evening so there was no atmosphere, but I know that a group had been in earlier.

As described by BF, this was a lengthy and damp traipse to reach this prefab industrial shed in the middle of nowhere.
There are just three cask lines in this stark room, with décor amounting to little more than a mural depicting Burton’s brewing heritage to a walk and the only entertainment came in the form of watching the barman’s wife playing with their toddler. Thereafter there’s a dartboard, with arrows doubtless deflected by the propane heater’s gas jet arcing across the board.
As mentioned, it’s not cheap here, me plumping for the Burton Town Brewery Cascade IPA, being somewhat unmemorable, the experience marred slightly by the barman totting up every drink as if one of us – me – was buying a round.
I can’t think of a reason to come here again; the limited opening hours are a further disincentive.

This is a basic brewery tap in a modern industrial unit. There is a glass fire exit door on the main Hawkins Lane road and if you can attract attention you can get let in here rather than walk into the industrial estate where the front door is.Not difficult attracting attention as nobody else was in.
Very basic just a few small refectory type pine tables and a small bar.Brewing kit to one side .The brewer was away at the Nottingham Beer Festival leaving the barman, the bar manageress and her child as the only human life inside before we pitched up.
Two Burton Town ales in Albion and Cascade IPA (too sweet and malty,NBSS 2.5) with two of their kegged beers in Born Slippy and Modwena.
There was an inaccessable darts board above two propane canisters,it was deviod of atmosphere and a bit pricey for Burton.I did ask myself if this was worth the effort as we were let out of the fire exit again.
