Located in a large industrial unit close to Cheltenham Spa train station. The working side raps round the bar in an L shape. Bench seating with small booths down one side. Umpteen keg lines and numerous cans.

Surprisingly unreviewed given its proximity to Cheltenham Spa Station. Standard brewery tap in a fairly large modern brewery, it takes up about a third of the big industrial unit housing the brewery, offices and stores are in other units. This industrial estate is the site of the Gloster Aircraft Company, manufacturers of Britain’s first jet fighter. Laid out with serried ranks of wooden forms and benches, there are plywood booths down one side. A large mural dominates the wall at one end while the other has the counter, surprisingly there’s a solitary handpull with 25 keg taps on the bar back. Available beers are listed, with strength, style and prices on a large board behind and above the counter. Fermentation and conditioning tanks are visible from the bar area but none of the business end of coppers, lauter tuns etc, although you can admire them on the way to the toilets. There’s an outside seating area which had a street food van present. A second tap room will open round the corner in a few weeks (September/October 22)
