Large place with the feel of a mid-90s refit, done at great expense at the time, I imagine - lots of dark vanish wood and mirrors in an opened-out staple shaped interior with an island bar - and I was happy with that. Very busy for a Monday with a wide variety of punters and it’s a ‘suitable for all’ sort of place – beer, grub, chat and the infamous craic. 17 kegs and a decent selection, not just the usual Diageo bollocks; a few Irish ones so I went for the Kinnegar Scraggy Bay (decent) and the Northbound Kolsch lager (sweet and meh). Good service despite the busyness. Would make a point of revisiting if back here again and try some grub.
