Rob Hunter left this review about The Pier Inn

A micro pub that has been nicely done out.

Visited mid afternoon on a Monday in March. Five cask beers plus one cider. Ales consisted of TT Landlord, Robinsons Cumbria Way, Pennine Heartland, Wainwright Gold and Titanic Plum Porter. I felt the ale selection could have been a little more exciting, but my Plum Porter was pleasant enough and set me back £2.10 for a half. Keg beers and spirits also available.

It's dog friendly, Wi-Fi is advertised, music was playing and there is bingo advertised every Thursday at 2pm.

Not bad, some more interesting ales would make it better, but I'd be happy to give it another go at some point.

ROB Camra left this review about The Pier Inn

A very good single roomed micropub just off the main road junction in the centre of St Annes. We called in here twice during an overnighter in the town, it was our first port of call and Ms CAMRA requested that it was our last a few hours later as well. Five handpumps, one of which sometimes has a real cider. Very friendly barstaff and regulars who all made us welcome. It was a nice afternoon, so we sat outside watching the world go by. I had 3 pints here over our 2 visits and all were very well kept. We'll be coming here again, quite soon, I suspect. Also give a 20p per pint CAMRA discount.

Old Boots left this review about The Pier Inn

A single room micro in a row of shops in the main street, the counter is in the back right, six pulls one is hidden beyond a pillar, the beers were mostly from Holts and Lancaster. There’s also two horseshoes with a bit of a mix of beers. Nautical décor, a screen and some organised pump clip decor.

New spacious one roomed micropub close to the busy main road junction. There is a good range of seating available indoors plus an ample outdoor area. The bar had 8 keg taps plus 4 cask pumps. Opening times are 11am till 11pm (Sun 12pm till 11pm) Quite liked this one which had a friendly landlord and a cosy and relaxed atmosphere.
