Yup pard’ner it’s a good ole US of A burgers, wings, steaks and hell yes whatever Stars and Stripes food that’s good, best food in the world - true. Ignore the fake noos about additives and GM, greatest country in the world, best food, best cheese, best beer in the world, forget that Europooran garbage.
Anyway: as an US style cafe it’s table service only (got mildly rebuked for trying to order at the counter)but it’s sit anywhere. It’s fairly basic but comfy either in the front space looking out onto Goodramgate or more formally at the back. It has a back garden as noted before with murals and a small snug at the back near the toilet. The screen was showing basketball and the piped music was decidedly US, the only one of the four keg beers on offer from the good old USA however was the excretable Bud Lite, I had a San Mig possibly from the ex-US Colony of the Philippines or perhaps not - Northampton ? Is Bud Lite made in the US? If not why not? I’m writing to my Congressman and Representative about this.
The burger was excellent and I didn’t pay US levels of tips (20-30+%).

A small American-style cafe bar with a little drinking area in the front, a tabled room behind and a patio area to the rear. Mural painters have been busy. The bar boasts two Camden keg taps and a house lager, which is apparently from Manchester Brewery (and tastes rather superior to the Camden stuff). Food is mainly of the burgers/wings variety. No real point, with so much else around.
