Will Larter left this review about The Anglesey Arms

I called in here as part of my trip out from Derby on the Villager bus service via Willington and Repton. I alighted near the unpromisingly named The Sump and walked up the hill to Winshill, a former village but now more like a suburb of Burton, although across the river from the town. The Anglesey Arms is a big village pub or hotel, with a bus stop opposite for the service into Burton for the train home. It was fairly quiet at the time of my visit, a midweek afternoon in December, but I was glad that I had time for a swift half before the bus, as the only beer on, Pedigree, was in superb condition. (I wasn't doing beer scoring at the time, but the adjective suggests NBSS 4 or maybe 4.5.)
