Shop conversion taproom/bottleshop at the end or beginning of Chesham's pedestrianised High Street (depending on which end you start from). 2 x cask, 8 x keg and a solitary cider. A small, corner plot, boxy inside with limited seating. Fridges to the left with various cans and bottles to purchase. Cask and keg barrels against the right-hand wall beyond the entrance-facing wall. Twickenham Spring Ale and Oxford (formerly Prospect) Scholar the 2 x cask; the Twickenham decent and £4 a pint. Gins, wines, whiskies, rums and soft drinks available as well as bottles of mead(!) plus the place is pooch-friendly. A smart speaker played some laid-back music perhaps a tad on the too-loud side and there was a clutch of people in attendance on my midweek afternoon visit; all very friendly and all who gave me a cheery goodbye – BRAPA Si and Colin would go down a storm here. Well worthy of ticking if in the vicinity.
