I really couldn't warm to this place. It is still as described by JAQPTIO below, and the ale selection looked good, but it all felt very artificial. The atmosphere when we walked in was far from welcoming, and the elderly barmaid was at best obnoxious, telling us she didn't give a $h!t about ale or WiFi, and told us she was too busy to bother making sure we had a full pint. The outside seating was noisy and filthy, the front bar was overcrowded, yet the back bar, weirdly, was empty. The locals were unwelcoming, and the atmosphere was not pleasant. Ales on were Grain Store Springtime and Ten Fifty, both in good condition but uninspiring. The Kent Brewery Session IPA was a better bet. Keg chpoices were Thistly Cross, Verdant Light Bulb, Keller Pils, Mena Dhu, Wanna Go To The Sun, Madri and Fruhli. It should be so much better, but as it is I have no intention to return.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Crafty Fox
Small, two-room pub (previously the Hop & Rye) in a rather undistinguished shopping parade unit. However, the main bar at the front is traditionally furnished and comfortable enough, although the back part is more brightly lit under a higher ceiling and looks more spartan. Three non-mainstream real ales are available on handpump, Tonbridge Rustic, Goachers Gold Star and from further away the Dorking Brewery's Pacific Pale (£4.20).
