Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Devon Arms
Backstreet pub opposite the more famous Hole in the Wall. The pool table is just left of the entrance, with the bar and a limited amount of basic furniture in the larger area on the right-hand side. Just Abbot (£4.80) available from the pair of handpumps, but thankfully that was in good-enough shape.

Rougher brother to the Hole in the Wall opposite.
Pool Table. Sky Sports (if Sky Sports show go-kart facing and skate boarding). A dart board. Jukebox. Very drunk middle aged couples snogging at the bar. Not all of these things may be present on your visit.
I didnt expect too much from such a place beer-wise - but they had two hand pulls on - Banks Bitter (how bizarre!) and Bay Brewery Topsail.
The later was my pint of the weekend. Stunning condition.

Situated just over the way from the Hole in the Wall and not opening until late afternoon, we only squeezed in a brief visit here. Basic open bar pub with laminated floor. Dart board spotted as well as a Bristol Rovers framed shirt (is the landlord a Gashead?). Three pumps, Exmoor Ale (good) and two others un-noted, plus Sandford Orchards cider. Live music going on when we were in, some old boys ensemble which was quite good. Pretty busy and a lively atmosphere. Worth looking in.

Smallish one roomed pub just up an hill from the town centre that is in need of a little TLC,and has the previous reviewer states is not in the same league as the pub next door.They had a couple of casks on but the one i tried had certainly seen better days.Wont be rushing back to this one.
