Strongers . left this review about The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is a Beefeater adjacent to a Premier Inn so I wasn’t expecting much, but was still disappointed. To the right of the entrance is a dining area with mezzanine and open kitchen. To the left is a small and drab bar area and a few more dining tables beyond. These were all taken during a recent Saturday afternoon visit so I ended up standing at a long table by the entrance. The small bar counter supports two hand pumps, one of which was in operation drawing Doom Bar. I had a look around and saw nobody drinking the ale, so I went for a pint of Stella which was served in a glass that looked like it had been dragged through a dirty ashtray. The barman was quick to change it, but there was no apology. This is a poor excuse for a pub.
