On a street corner in what looks like a former pub,the apex door gives way to many ranks of high tables before the bar along the far wall is reached. A selection of craft keg beers ,a few from local brewers as described below, but I found this a souless drinking experience,it's quite food orientated and not somewhere to settle down for a session.I don't see a revisit being on the cards,it may suit a younger crowd.

This is a pretty smart bar near New Eltham station. There is some outside seating on one side of the front of the premises, with the entrance door on that corner with the other side facing the station entrance. Inside it is bare boards and some laminate tiles with the bar along the back wall facing the entrance. There are high tables with high stools with leather seats and backs that were, in my opinion, v comfortable. Some low tables with similar chairs in the the area opposite the bar for diners I presume! There is an upstairs what looks like a function room / overspill seating area in busy times. The walls a mixture of some arts & crafts style wall wall covering and bar brick.

No cask beer but an OK keg range way better than other venues on this SE9 sweep up of unvisited venues. Lagers were Amstel, Moretti, Camden Hells, Madri and Staropramen, so nothing exciting there. They had Inch’s cider, Guinness and then Neck Oil, Brixton Reliance Pale Ale, Hepcat from Gipsy Hill and two from Two Tribes - a pale ale called Dream and a hazy pale ale called Campfire. Not stellar but for the location at least some choice for those of us that do not love lager.

If you find yourself in New Eltham then the two venues here in tandem aren’t the worst combo for an area that has nothing else, literally nothing else! Not worth getting off the train for I might add before I am accused of selling the location!
