Modern cafe bar-cum-nightclub in a fully-enclosed building – no natural light (though there is an upstairs bar and terrace which are open on sunny days). Being a small town it’s a mish-mash of local punters, our early evening visit found a family goofing around on the pool table whilst a couple of locals watched the golf on the jumbo TV so not exactly the hip and happening crowd the place is designed for. The most memorable feature was the excellent artwork on the doors of the gents and ladies bogs (see pics), really impressive. No cask but a couple of Llyn bottles in the fridge, so fair play for that. Rated 4 for a grotty day and 5 for a good one.

Seems to have a range of names, it’s a bit difficult to sort out what’s what. A big barn like structure on the harbour side, inside is split up into one very large room with smaller ones by the entrance, a terrace and something upstairs. The big room has a mix of low tables to one side and higher tables and stools nearer the counter, the snakeskin upholstery is notable. Nothing notable in the drinks range, mundane kegs and bottles etc, I did notice what looked like bottles from somewhere local, possibly Cwrw Llyn. Many screens giant and large, showing sport and there’s a raised area in the corner with pool, banquette seating and one of a couple of machines. Obviously youth clientele in this bit, some olders in the smaller bits.
