The Track Brewery Tap Room seems to be a rather large and slightly more commercialised set-up than other local breweries.
We arrived late on a Saturday afternoon to find this unit on a trading estate very busy indeed. Seating is by way of benches and we had to share with a couple of young local lads, who were clearly very interested in their beer. Outdoor seating was also available.
There were plenty of bar staff on hand to serve. So they had clearly expecting it to be busy. Beers (all from Track) are listed on large signage behind the bar, with both cask and keg available. Cask ales were Sonoma, Language Barrier & Koto. Keg beers were Sonoma, Dance First, Flutter, Still I Rise, Yet I Stand, Seeing Is Changing, Moxee, Two Steps Ahead, Downstate, Moonlight, Each Coming Night, All Is Known, Nothing More, Language Barrier & Barrel Aged Language Barrier.
With the bar on the right-hand wall as you enter, there is a food servery off to the left-hand side offering gyros and similar wares. We were tempted, but time was ticking.

Two tap rooms for the price of one, if you are prepared to walk across the edgier part of town.
This is an airy room, with doors wide open for ventilation, off the main brewery. A simple bar to the right. A stand selling sauces (I think) at the opposite end. Majority keg but a couple of cask, including a stunning Next New Sun.
Good atmosphere.

Visited in November 2021 but somehow I failed to leave a review at the time. This is a large space with a long bar to the right hand side as you enter. Décor is modern and bright and higher end than you traditionally get in a brewery tap room and it is clear that some effort has been made here. Beyond the customer area there is the brewery operations area - I am not sure if the brewing is actually done here, or if this area is just used for storage. The sight of this zone is the only sign that you are in a brewery tap rather than a bar.
There were cask beers available, backed up by a massive selection of keg beers, both from Track and guest breweries. I think there had been a Beak brewery tap takeover event around the time of our visit and they still had a few Beak beers available. I went for Made In The Shade (Track) on cask and Trumbo (Beak) on keg and both were very enjoyable.
A member of staff came round the tables to advise they would be calling last orders soon, which was obviously helpful.
Nice place, good selection of beers, and well worth doubling up with a trip to Cloudwater just down the road.
