Strongers . left this review about Sky Blue Tavern

Housed in a blue painted box plastered with murals and pictures of supporters in the stands there’s no confusion that the Sky Blue Tavern is a Coventry City supporters pub. The entrance leads past a flight of stairs to the left (didn’t venture up) to the serving counter on the left-hand wall. Standard and premium keg were available alongside Neck Oil, there are no longer any hand pumps. Being the second pub of a long day I asked for half a Carling and was served a pint, but at £2.50 I couldn’t really grumble. As expected there are lots of old signs on the walls from the ground as well as posters and seating from the terraces. Rows of high tables are found to the right and there are booths found throughout, all with little televisions to accompanying the larger screens that were airing football match replays from yesteryear. I spotted a couple of table football tables and there was some background music from the 90s playing. There’s a pub grub and curry menu, but the kitchen looked closed during my recent midweek afternoon visit. I thought it was OK in here for what it is and I bet it’s great on matchdays if you’re a Coventry fan.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Sky Blue Tavern

Sports bar dedicated to all things Coventry City, with various seating / dining areas, numerous TV screens (incongruously showing golf when I visited), a couple of table-football tables, etc. What caught my eye, though, was the signage for the local Dhillon's Brewery, and I found their Bight Eyes GPA (£3.50) on handpump and several craft beers on the keg taps. It was quiet when I visited late afternoon on a stormy day, but the barman was friendly, and there was some excellent background music.
