E TA left this review about The Italian Greyhound
More Italian restaurant than bar, but they do allow you to come in and sit at the bar or a table and have a beer. There is a single large L-shaped room on the ground floor, mainly for dining, and a basement bar where you can have bar snacks Italian style. The staff those who actually spoke English - were far too busy to chat, and there was none of the Italian bacaros vibe they claim to promote. No real ale or cider, just a keg range of Moretti, Camden Hells, Vocation Hazy Pale, Aspall's Cider and Guinness. It was expensive and not particularly convivial, so I'd be happy to come back for lunch or a meal with wine, but it's not somewhere I'd come for a few beers.
