The Bluestone is a small shop con… sorry micropub… with a mix of standard and high tables that are faced by a couple of large fridges stocked with craft cans across the rear wall and a wooden topped pallet counter on the right-hand wall. The three hand pumps on the counter were drawing Wilde Child Brewing’s Humble Beginnings, Shiny Brewery’s Rocky and Abbeydale’s Nelson, the latter being on good form but a bit strong for crawling beer at 5.2% There are also ten craft fonts across the back bar, all the draught options are displayed on a screen above the counter. The was some rock music playing in the background and a decent seven strong local Monday after work crowd were in attendance. I though the service was very friendly and I will return for another pint next time I pass.
