Little more to add to Strongers review as Loungers tend to follow a corporate line. This one is a square room with floral wallpaper covered in a mix of old paintings and botanical prints. Lots of tables and chairs with a sprinkling of banquette seating, a bench, sofas and a tall 10 seater table with metal stools. Nothing surprising or enticing in the limited keg choice.

There seems to be a Lounger in every town or city I visit these days and Grantham is no exception with Cinco Lounge. There’re all decorated the same with oversized lamps, faux school gym flooring and mass produced ‘upscaled’ wooden furniture. This one had sofas across the front windows and a noticeable orange hue from the table candles, and also the counter was in the left rear corner rather than their preferred right. I had a pint of Cruzcampo, but I didn’t stop for my usual burger having already eaten. The food is pricey but normally very good in this chain. The toilets are upstairs, but I didn’t investigate if there was any overspill seating up there. I’d pop back in for some food if passing.
