Strongers . left this review about The Kingstown Hotel

The Kingstown Hotel is a Greene King Inns complex with a central pub that is bookended by a hotel to the left and Wacky Warehouse to the right. The hotel and soft play means that food is high up the agenda here, there was a mix of young families and trades during my recent Tuesday late afternoon visit. Standard and premium keg was available from the long bar counter that runs across the rear wall. The seating is split-level with the right-hand side feeling like a dining area, but seating to the left of the counter does feel more pub-like. It’s just a shames the large television that overlooks this seating was airing muted Pointless. I suppose there was some background music to mask the sound of fork on plate. In the left rear is a conservatory with more seating and a pool table. The service was very polite and the hotel did the job at a reasonable price, but nobody who lives in Hedon is going here because they just fancy a few pints.

Large Hungry Horse establishment to the west of Hedon. We were using this pub as somewhere to stay. By the time we checked in, they were already starting to pack up the drip trays. But there was just time for a quick drink.

There's no cask ale here. However, the keg options were Peroni, Stella Artois, San Miguel, Fosters, Carling, Coors Light, Guinness, John Smith's, Strongbow & Strongbow Dark Fruit.

With a Wacky Warehouse kids' area, it's obviously marketed at families. It served a purpose for us, but is not a place I would return to for a drink.
