The Curious Mr Fox is a laminate floored café bar with beer shelves and stools up the left-hand windows and walls that are faced by an L-shaped serving counter that supports premium keg. Across the rear there are benches and three tables adjacent to board games that sit under a flight of stairs up to the floor above where I didn’t visit. It was comfortably busy during a recent midweek evening visit, but the vast majority were on hot drinks. The service was very friendly, but this isn’t somewhere I would go for a beer again.

Old Boots left this review about Curious Mr Fox
Cafe/bar place at the end of Framwellgate bridge. Two T-Bars of boring kegs as your beer choice - you may choose to go elsewhere, I know I did.
