Well I have to like this one, don't I! (If you don't know, don't bother asking). A clean and tidy bottle shop with bar: OSB floor, chain store furnishings and lots of beer. 2 or 3 cask ales on and 5 keg, almost all ones that you haven't heard of - well I hadn't - a beer fridge and a couple of racks of tins and bottles. Oh and a tram stop literally on the doorstep . Casks ales on this visit were Zapato Tent and Nightjar Happy Joose.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Pangolin

I didn't really take to this formulaic craft beer bar and bottle shop, which has a light and rather soulless interior, and that was lacking any any real micropub atmosphere on a Sunday evening. Only five of the keg taps was working, but I went for the sole cask offering: Abbeydale Freemantle.

A pretty formulaic craft bar/micropub, single room shop conversion with normal height tables and chairs set out canteen style. Along one wall there are shelves of bottles and cans for sale in a varied and interesting range of beers. At the bar on offer were two cask beers , Vocation Heart and Soul and Wild Card Pale, keg wise there were five , Squark Corvus, Wiper & True Kaleidoscope, Vault City x Neon Raptor Dinosaur Tea Party, Duration x Unity Life Cycles and Disruption People Of The Hop. I don't mind popping into these types of bars for a beer but prefer ones that offer a bit more interest in decor and layout, I wouldn't make a dedicated trip back but if lived locally would be happy to call in now and again.
