Ultra expensive bar in Brown's Hotel,officially it's a free walk in ,but you may be asked to wait in the lobby for a table to become available when it's busy and it seems that you can't just sit on any free bar stool ,they are the preserve of the beautifal people ,known to the staff.
No real ale,the drinks menu focusses on exotic cocktails around £25 and a very expensive wine list by the glass or bottle.
Donovan was a famous photographer and his works adorn the walls.The interior is plush although the low comfy chairs are a stuggle to get out of.
Besides being pricey you will be hit by a 12.5% service charge,so unless you want to be flash ,there is no good reason for a revisit.
