Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Hall Croft Tap
Smart, modern Charnwood Brewery side-street micro-pub with a two-part interior separated by a central passageway. The bar and main seating area are located on the right-hand side, with another room for occasional use to the left, a patio seating area at the back and a rear garden up a flight of steps. Four of their own cask ales on handpump: the regular Vixen and Salvation, plus the seasonal Fox and Try Hopped (£4.75).

Upmarket modern tap for Charnwood Brewery. NOTE - enter via the alleyway not the front door, else you’ll get laughed at. Inside is a harsh three room whack-through with in dark blue with white trim and a mix of modern seating – not particularly cosy but decent enough. To the rear is a surprisingly lofty garden up a few steps. Snacks and cobs available which looked good though prices were ambitious so I held fire. Four of their cask available and a couple on keg; my Salvation was excellent (NBSS 4). GBG listed of course and worth a pint if you’re unfamiliar with the brewery’s wares.
