Ian Mapp left this review about Kingsbridge Bar

A bit of a cafe/bar hybrid, with two types of cake available on the bar. Very neatly decorated, with lots of leather and some very nice chesterfields. A little sheltered garden to the rear.

Decent choice of beers, with Butty Bach/HPA on cask and some interesting craft keg, including one form Nothing Bound.

Point added for very frienndly staff.

Strongers . left this review about Kingsbridge Bar

I popped into the Kingsbridge Bar way before their advertised weird closing time of 22:15, but they decided to close early and I was the last order of the day. There were two other customers in the small L-shaped interior, so I can understand closing early, but maybe they should stay open later so that they have time to sit down and discuss why their bar is empty on a Friday evening. Premium keg was available alongside Wye Valley’s Butty Bach and HPA from the four hand pumps. There are better, and cheaper, pubs along this stretch, point knocked off for being lazy.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Kingsbridge Bar

A bit too big, bright and modern to be a micro-pub, and given that cake is available on the counter, café-bar might be a more accurate description. Anyway, the L-shaped interior was almost full on a Wednesday evening, so it's obviously doing something right... All four handpumps were in use too, pouring HPA and Butty Bach from Wye Valley, Enville Ginger (fine but expensive for the area at £4.50) and Stan's cider from Thatchers. Food alert: cobs (albeit with trimmings) £5.45 - I didn't bite, but be aware!

A smart and modern micropub housed in an old TV shop. HPA, Butty Bach and Titanic Steerage on offer when we called. Ciders available as well as coffee and cakes. Worth a visit.
