Wood plank and chipboard micro. Four pumps with three cask and a cider. Unfortunately my choice of Welbeck Abbey Misaligned was bottom of the barrel (NBSS 1.5) but exchanged with good grace for a Shipstone Original (3) somewhat lacking in throughput and indeed I only saw one other pint pulled on a grey Saturday early evening. Didn’t much take to the place, far too basic for me.

Smallish micro in a larger group of things, one room with an L shaped counter in one corner, some stools at a shelf opposite the counter and a selection of tables at pews or small tables and chairs at the front of the room. A big safe sits in front of the counter for no apparent reason, walls are exposed brick, Sterling board or planks, Edison lights on plumbing and nice old wall mounted fruit machine complete the crafty decor. Five pulls with beers from Welbeck and Lincoln Green in good nick, other three not in use due to plague. One keg cider and one international lager (Sagre). Handled jug nonsense as default ale glass. Close to tram stop and bus station. Easy simple access following usual Covid rules.
