A micropub with one main room and a smaller room to the rear, not populated on our Tuesday visit. It started lashing it down just as we entered, so we had to have two in here until it stopped. This was no hardship at all as the barman and the locals were all very friendly and the two beers I had were in excellent condition. Most of the beers were light with one being a bit amber, apparently they do occasionally have a dark one on, but the local preference is for light beers. Really enjoyed this one and we'll be back next time we're in St Annes, which won't be very long.

A micro with a square front room incorporating the counter to the left, there’s a thin extension on the right leading into a back room and the gents. Five pumps and a T -Bar, casks fairly locally sourced, and it’s national kegs. Music related pictures and a spot the movie reference in one of them. If your order is under £2.50 then it’s cash only and it doesn’t open before 3pm so if early visit the Hop Shoppe across the road.

A new and welcome addition to the St Anne's drinking scene. One of the regulars from the nearby No. 10 owns this micro and it's only been open a few weeks. The barman at No. 10 told me that it was an advantage to have two good micros in the area to bring in more visitors to St Anne's.
The interior here was modern and was finished to a very high standard. We met the owner on our visit who was very passionate about his beers. To the extent that he took my beer from me and told me he was going to change it for another beer, as it looked to be near the end of the barrel, which was a nice touch as I thought it was fine.
Five handpumps serving five ales, two from Parker, Centurion Pale and Barbarian Bitter, Old Mill Brewery Blonde Bombshell, Bradfield Brown Cow and Prospect Raisins to be Cheerful.
