The clubhouse for this cricket club (also featuring other sports) overlooks the pitch and offers a few different real ales, mostly from Arkell's.

On our Sunday afternoon visit, most people were in to watch a Premier League football game. It was fairly busy, with all tables occupied and people standing at the bar. Luckily, there is an overflow space at the far end from the bar, which also houses a Greek cafe-restaurant which has limited opening hours and was not open for our visit.

Sharp's Doom Bar is a regular beer, along with Arkell's Bounty Gold, so called because the cricket pitch was gifted from a local brewer. Additional beers were Arkell's 3B & Belt Driver. I tried the Belt Driver, which was quite pleasant. There were also a couple of other unused handpulls.

Quite a few kids were in to watch the football, whilst older customers were playing a fruit machine. I also spotted a covered pool table sat unused against a wall.

Whilst the general public are allowed in, I missed out on the CAMRA discount mentioned below.
