Real Ale Ray left this review about The Fulwood Ale Club
This micropub was a former butchers shop and has a small interior, which has been tastefully kitted out, with magenta painted walls, along with a Tiffany lamp hanging over the bar area and a chandelier in the seated area. There is a small bar on the left with the beer cellar behind, which was once used as a cold store. There is also some additional extra seating out front.
The young barman was very welcoming and chatty on our Wednesday afternoon visit, along with a local sitting at the small bar. Four handpumps with 3 on, serving Black Iris Let The Devil In, Turning Point Dayglow Drift and Wincle Beer Co Sir Philip premium bitter. There was also a choice of four kegs taps behind the bar, one of which was a cider Kingstone Press Apple Cider. This micro is open every day from 12 noon, at present.
