Taproom within the brewery complex. Go through the shop or side door and it’s in the bowels. Enter to a room with chairs, sofas and brewery branding then head down more steps and find the main bar area with plenty of exposed brick walls and an old tun on the floor. Small, and busy with punters and other tour groups. Four pumps dispensing Hobgoblin Ruby, Gold, King Goblin (NBSS 3) and Brakspear Bitter (3.5) with the KG being an example of beer in cask that would normally go for bottling. There’s also some keg including a stout plus some bottles in the fridge. It’s worth a look if in town, though I personally don't have much of a fondness for the brews. 6.5
