F&Rs seems to be the younger persons sports pub/bar of the area as there are plasma screens throughout and this is the only pub in Teignmouth where I saw Sky Sports 3D advertised. My visit on a recent Thursday evening coincided with an Exeter rugby match and there were about twenty people watching the game in this large establishment. To the right of the entrance is a seating area where the front windows open up onto the street in the warmer months. Opposite the bar on the left hand wall is a thin stage area that was set up with a sound system that is used for karaoke on Thursdays and I imagine that there a DJ at the weekends. The bar stretches around to the right rear of the pub where there is a pool table and dartboard. After the rugby had finished some loud dance music was put on and I decided to make a retreat.
The bar is stocked with standard draught products and food is available until early evening during the week/Saturdays and until 17:00 on Sundays. The mains were priced around the £9 mark and consisted of standard pub fayre.

The barman was very friendly, but if I was in the area and felt like catching a match I would prefer spending my time in Dicey’s which is the other side of town.
