Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Mercure Eastgate Hotel

Hotel bar (which seems to have lost its previous Keepers branding) in a thoroughly remodelled and refurbished old building on the High Street. Modern furniture in the bar, but more lounge-style furniture in the adjacent reception area. No cask ales of course, and a rather limited selection from the keg taps, so made do with a Sharp's Atlantic (£6.75) before calling it a night.

Komakino . left this review about Keepers @ Mercure Eastgate Hotel

A modern bar in Oxford's Mercure Hotel on the famed High Street. This is accessed from the narrow Merton Street through (bizarrely enough) the very posh, champagne-y 'Library Bar' which is to the right of the left-hand positioned bar (on entry) and down a few steps. The bar is midway down the room to the right and offers no real ale. A pint of Camden Pale Ale was £4.95 (to be fair I was expecting to pay a lot more) but at least it was served in a Camden glass and service was prompt. As hotel bars go, I've been in worse, and this modernisation of an old room in an old building is tasteful, but is no more than a hardcore "you can just buy a drink in there" tick when there is so much variety of drinking establishments in Oxford.
